END OF TOUR SPRING/SUMMER 1999
So the tour has been an amazing success.
The stamina and determination of the group throughout has been invigorating and refreshing the imagination. The inspiration to compose and share enjoyment
with the audience has certainly been uplifting.
Glastonbury provided the spiritual
nourishment and the spectators induced much energy. In addition to performing on the large Greenpeace venue we also appeared at the Las vagrance marquee
at 9;30pm on Sunday 27th June. This was a slightly smaller venue but the
show bared the usual energising character, absolutely splendiferous..Other
renditions of our set were performed spontaneously throughout the Greenfield
area.
The grand finale of the tour was
on Wednesday 30th July at 121 railton Road, Brixton. The audience of spunky anarchos applauded us generously.
What Next:
The summer will be spent preparing
our album which will be released, hopefully, in the autumn. The another
tour!! but Nostradamus and his prophecies are abound and the World may end
.. Maybe the END OF THE WORLD tour will coincide with this.. The
Bon Bons will be abound soon!!
Watch This Space!
One Other Surprise Show!!
This occurred at London
Fields Lido, London Fields Hackney E 8 on Friday 9th July. Dressed
in swimming gear and bathing hats designed by Stephanie the rendition was
accompanied by projections produced by Jason and fire-eaters/jugglers.
The show took place in literally the Deep End of the pool with the revelers sitting
and dancing on the sloping surface. The images were projected onto
the wall at the deep-end and were mainly animations which complimented
the extremely bohemian atmosphere. The wonderful alternative arts promoter/campaigner
Lucy Teatherwas present and gave a nod of approval to our efforts..
Hopefully this will help in the cause for retaining such valuable public
space and help to promote collective as opposed to greedy activities..
Food was on offer a veggie pancake for only £1:50
with salad. A very collective show with no room for profit margins.. within
the capitalist system we are considered top be abject failures but in
a more organically fresh collective system we are, I suppose, 'A' Graders
promoting sustainably enjoyable pleasure to people without greedy genes
in their system.. So we're losers?? Nope certainly not. We enjoy our music
without feeling obnoxious and jealous..

So we were back in September the Bon Bon's Gig at Chat's
palace a real 999 show with new material new costumes and new drive and
enthusiasm. New songs as Ali Baba, 999, Warm Up.. and a dancy sound...enabling
punters to exercise their sweat glands..
***Bon
Bon Kaotikai*** Performing at Chats Palace,
chatsworth Road, Hackney on 2nd October, starts at 9:00 p.m. til late.
Costs a few squid!!
Enjoy the wild wild show!!!
The Art's warehouse, hackney 8th October & 27th November..
Both shows fun and entertaining in the large capacious basement of this
Art's commune... a large vivacious crowd absorbing the sounds... of Chaos...Many
Boho's enjoying the extravaganza.. Michel's last gig on 27th November until
Spring... He flew off to India to study Indian Classical music in Calcutta
a few hours after the gig.. Geffer's
crazy driving enabled him to be transported
to Heathrow in time for the flight..
Glyn Abbey, Kidwelly, Wales 31st December 1999
Last show of the Millenium ( now there's a buzz word).. Malheuresement
sensa Michel our drummer.. However we managed to maintain the rhythm and people boogied to the sounds.. This
Marvelous old Abbey providing the
ideal setting to flush out the demons of the previous year..
Now we'll be back in the spring.. Stephanie has flown out to India for
a couple of months.
so Kaotikai will be back with some interesting new sounds J'ESPERE!!
